AmericanTrucks gave me 2 options, tape the box back up and ship it back or use new boxes to ship everything back. They then gave me 48 hours to do all this, because they have “strict” policy on open-box items. I opened a claim with UPS, which they denied liability because of how poorly the shipper shipped the item. So now I get to figure out how to fix this. Good luck to anyone that orders from them. I wouldn’t trust them buying anything New.
I have had no negative experience dealing with AT for years. Been disappointed by too many online retailers customer service. Ordered fender flares from American Truck because they said I would have the parts by a specific date and meet my deadline. Supposed to arrive Tuesday but FedEx is delivering the parts Friday. Called Customer Service and was told, “Oh well, it’s not our problem once FedEx receives the package.” FedEx said they didn’t receive the package on time. Guess I will be the one to take responsibility, I decided to do business with them.
I would suggest that you change the installation instructions to have the package opened and lay our the bed rug for a couple of days before installing. It would make it much more pliable and easier to handle. We are passionate enthusiasts whose customers are the number 1 priority. Everything is well laid out and easily to navigate. At the opening page of the site it shows a lot of products I might be interested in but none of them have prices until I start looking in more detail. It would help to have the prices in order to save time.
It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. I learned about the bad reviews after the fact, and serveracademy have added my experience on those sites in the last day. They have a professional looking web site, they can mail catalogs of accessories for each popular make/type of truck, etc.
I can’t imagine how bad those ones actually were. I spent over an hour on the phone/chat, and American Trucks would only offer a $40 store credit. They would not budge on the amount or store credit.
Orders have always come in time or early and the few times I needed to return an item it was the easiest return I’ve ever done. Competitive pricing and so much to pick and choose from. Thank you guys for creating a badass truck accessory website.
